What a petty, insolent, completely out-of-context pile of horseshit this is. Are we selling the pitch that Damon will stop a moving train for Elena and Stefan won’t, no, not WON’T, but just doesn’t give enough of a damn to try? The guy that saved her from the accident that took her parents’ lives, before he even knew her, or at the very most, loved her? The guy that ran into a tomb that he knew he couldn’t get out of because he simply heard her scream? The guy that has taken care of her brother and her best friends because he knew how much it would mean to her? The guy that wanted to take her guardian’s place in the ritual to spare another person in her life from dying, from being lost to her? Wait a minute, the guy that was going to drive a stake through his own heart if it meant Elena would live another day? The guy that actually tried to talk her out of sacrificing herself, because she had a life to live, whether or not that life would be spent with him?
Bottom line, BITCH PULEAZE. Stefan has done more than Damon ever could dream of for that girl and the thought, even the delusion that he hasn’t, makes for some seriously good crack to smoke on your off days. All this hating on Stefan to prop Damon as Elena’s ‘Great Vamp Hope’ is just incredibly sad and hilarious. Step your game up and come up with something better than Damon carrying Elena’s unconscious carcass over the threshold for the millionth time. OH WELP, indeed.
